Room 10 of the Sunshine Motel on Route 66 is no ordinary room. No one knows what transformed the mundane contents of the room into objects of mystical power, such as the comb that can stop time or the eyeglasses that inhibit fire. The room itself is said to be a portal to... anywhere. But possessing such power does not come without a price, as Detective Joe Miller is about to find out when he comes into possession of the room key.
