After the death of her father and a car crash that puts her mother in a coma, a young girl comes to stay with her Aunt. While out exploring, she finds herself drawn to a mysterious moondial which she soon discovers has the power to send her into the past. She gets involved with a young boy and girl from two different centuries and resolves to help them out of their dire situations.
